Key technologies for Photonic Quantum Systems

In this International Year of Quantum Science and Technologies, we would like to draw your attention to our workshop Key Technologies for Photonic Quantum Systems. Experts from science, applied research and industry will find a platform here for exchange and new collaborations. The workshop in Erfurt will focus on photonic quantum technology with three core areas: components, assembly and connection technology, and quantum defects. In his keynote speech, Dr. Robert Rölver from Q.ANT GmbH will give an overview of the development of photonic quantum sensors from basic research to market.
In a total of 13 presentations, mainly external speakers will explore the topics of ‘Applications of NV colour centres’, ‘Quantum Cryptography and Imaging’, ‘Photonic Quantum Circuits’ and ‘Enabling Technologies’ in depth, thereby stimulating discussion. The workshop will be accompanied by a table-top exhibition. Guests who are unable to attend in person will be able to participate online.
